The ensemble presents the juxtaposition of a traditional Romanian house and a barn from the ethnogeographic area called the country of Fagaras. Located in the centre of the village of Sona, near Fagaras, the household sits near the old church being a fine example of the architectural style of the area. The main house built and extended in the 19th century was left in a state of disrepair till a repurposing and restoration process started 5 years ago, organised by Monumentum Association. The ensemble is wanted to be transformed into an open-air theatre and a cultural centre.
